I'm a professional cook from the north of England. I've cooked at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California, Ballymaloe in Ireland as well as Moro in London, among many other restaurants. The food I cook is always ingredient led. Local organic vegetables are the main event but I also love to cook meat and fish. The food I make is simple but has loads and loads of flavour.
What to expect at Josh & Erika's place
Josh and Erika were fantastic hosts! This was my first EatWith experience and it could not have been better. I was traveling alone in Barcelona and looking for a good meal and some friendly company. From the first moment arriving on their beautiful terrace, I felt instantly comfortable and at ease. The food was terrific: fresh, creative, and extremely welI-made. I also had a fantastic conversation with the other guests over delicious wine. Josh and Erika were so gracious and effortless dealing with my many strange dietary restrictions - so appreciated as this can be a big source of difficulty (especially when traveling abroad!). My only regret was that I would have loved to chat more with Josh and Erika (who were, of course busy cooking and serving!) as they seemed so cool.
We had a fantastic evening with extremely nice people, interesting conversations and excellent food with Josh and Erika on their cosy roof terrace! All the dishes we had never eaten before and they were all extraordinary and very tasty! Josh and Erika are wonderful hosts and we can recommend an evening on their terrace to everyone. Tanja & Wenzel
