Hello! I'm a full-time tax accountant who loves food, music, movies, food, art and... wait did I say food.
From an early age, I experimented with food and forced my family to try my creations. Some were extraordinary; others were total disasters. My comfort was the kitchen, especially while learning from my Mom and Memom. With time I learned my family’s soul food recipes while keeping my mad scientist mentality.
My culinary exploration of soul food directed me down my ancestral history of barbecue and African flavors. Cooking helped me find the LOST pieces of my heritage. Each dish is a homage to the African diaspora.
My wife and I share our love of food in our home in Brewerytown, a neighborhood in North Philly. We hope to see you soon!
