I was born and raised in New Jersey by immigrant parents from the Philippines. My fondest memories growing up were around the kitchen table and so I have always been passionate about food and culture. I hope to tell a story through the dishes I create. Each one a reflection of the nostalgic flavors and smells of my mom's kitchen or another memory that has inspired me.

What to expect at Raquel's place
My husband and I had such a lovely evening at Raquel's! The space is beautiful and serene, the service so personal and welcoming, and there were lots of special touches (gorgeous decor, indoor slippers provided, placecards, welcome cocktail). The food was delicious, and it was so much fun to get to know Raquel and Tam and hear the stories behind the dishes while we enjoyed a lovely meal. Don't miss it!
Raquel and her husband were wonderful hosts, they invited us into their home and cooked us amazing food! Every dish was so inspiring to their culture and the experience felt like just hanging out with your friends. This was such a unique, intimate experience, would definitely do it again!
Such a fun experience! My family and I enjoyed Raquel and Tom’s Filipino dinner at their house. We can’t stop talking about Raquel’s ube tacos and adobe chicken wings. Also, their calamansi tequila cocktail was delicious. My husband and I will be recreating that at home! We will definitely come back again.
The food was fantastic. Each dish was Amazing. Raquel and her husband are such generous hosts. You walk in to their home and can feel the love and passion they have for Tita Emmies. It was a wonderful experience centered around Raquel’s love for creating amazing Filipino dishes. I highly recommend and will be returning for more.
