I was born and raised in New Jersey by immigrant parents from the Philippines. My fondest memories growing up were around the kitchen table and so I have always been passionate about food and culture. I hope to tell a story through the dishes I create. Each one a reflection of the nostalgic flavors and smells of my mom's kitchen or another memory that has inspired me.

What to expect at Raquel's place
The experience at Tita Emmie's was what I imagined and more. Each dish was beautifully plated and tasted incredible. The combination of flavors in each dish left you wanting more. The dinner experience, sitting with others not from your own personal reservation, was unique and special. I would definitely recommend the experience to everyone!
Raquel’s event was a lovely experience. The food was phenomenal. She has such a vast
knowledge in the cuisine! I was able to network and meet new friends. I will be attending another Supper Club.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I could cry thinking about how wonderful it was eating all types of flavorful food. The experience of getting to meet new people, and leaving with new friends is something I’ll never forget too.

I really enjoyed the salmon dish with the pumpkin puree. The pomegranate also added a nice sweetness/tartiness and texture to the overall dish.
