I was born in the Alentejo, Portugal, and it is my roots that inspire me in the search for the flavors, perfumes and textures for the recipes that I have developed for many gastronomic magazines and books. I am a publisher, food developer and editor of several publications and food developer, cook and manager of a different catering service at In Love with Food and Maria's Table. I am also coordinator of food workshops and showcooking held for various parish councils and municipal councils in the country. I am the author and co-author of several books on food and nutrition.

If you’re ever in Lisbon you have to try Antonia’s market tour and cooking class, her and Luis are so welcoming and their home is beautiful and you will learn a lot... and eat and drink delicious Portuguese food and wine!!
