What to expect at Ben's place
We had a great time with Ben. It was a rainy day and a walking tour so we were worried it would be wet and cold and no fun. Ben was having none of that nonsense. He was fun and welcoming and had wonderful stories about the history of sandwiches in New York. He made my Teens feel just as important as the adults in the group. When it comes to Ruben Sandwiches, my daughter is an aficionado. She declared the Rubens we had in SoHo the best ever. We had a drink with the group after the tour. I could have stayed with them all evening cause they were smart, funny, friendly and I bet everyone of them is an Adventurer. We try to do a tour like this every time we travel. We would come back to NYC just to join Ben again and to get another bite of that awesome food. Thanks Ben!
Me and my husband had such a great time with Ben, his collegue and the other guests that participated on the sandwich walking tour experience. They were amazing explaining us a lot of interesting things about sandwiches and NYC. We got to know a lot of curiosities about streets and places of the city. We took a walk in SoHo and ate three diferents kinds of sandwiches, including vegetarian options for me. We also learned about each culture and history of imigrants involved in the preparations of the sandwiches. I bet you don't know when sandwiches were invented! Be prepared for a nice and elucidating debate about this issue. The quality of the informations said, the easy-going vibe and, of course, the delicious sandwiches elected in this event are a combo of a great time in NYC. You don't want to miss it!
Ben was a great host and guide. Very knowledgable and entertaining. Had interesting information about the neighborhoods and the food and the connection between the two. Having been on numerous food tours, I highly recommend this one. Great Value. Food was terrific. Absolutely five stars!
