Hi ! My name is Ann, born and bred in Dublin and I absolutely love this special city. I have worked for many years in the hospitality and catering sector and I am also a Qualified National Tour Guide. This event is the highlight of my week because I get to meet visitors from all over the world. I share my home, my food and stories of my life in Dublin with my guests and have made many new friends over the last couple of years. I am just so happy to be able to welcome guests back to my home and to my country after this shared ordeal . Definitely one of the best highlights from my trip to Dublin! I travelled to Dublin alone and attended this dinner on my first night there and felt welcomed right away! The dinner was fantastic, we laughed, and we shared memories! Ann was a fantastic host and even gave us some tips for our travels! I highly recommend!!!

Our evening with Ann was absolutely lovely. There were only two of us registered that evening so rather than cancelling, she invited 3 of her girlfriends over to make it a girls’ night. Everyone was so nice and it was a pleasure to meet Ann’s friends and gain their perspective on Irish life and culture. The food was delicious and my glass was never empty. Ann is an expert host and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this experience to friends. Thank you, Ann!

What a wonderful way to spend a evening. Actually.. one evening really isn’t enough: Ann is a wonderful host, a fountain of knowledge on Irish culture, food and Dublin. The ‘Craic’ was definitely in this evening : great food (made under the expert eye of Ann), great stories and a wonderful way of meeting other people. A must do when you’re visiting Dublin!

I had such a great experience cooking with Ann. I say "cooking" and I laugh because I connected so much to everyone in the class, including Ann, that we had a hard time starting to actually cook because we were pre-occupied with hilarious conversation over a never ending stream of wine. When we finally got to the cooking, it was just as fun as the conversations and everything tasted great. I got to take some of the soda bread home and ate it all as a midnight snack. I would definitely come back to Ann's lovely home and take the class again. The couple I met at the class ended up being my travel buddies for the last day of my trip. Lovely all around.
