I'm an avid chef, world traveler and cooker of all things delicious. I grew up watching dry cooking shows from the 80's and cooking with my pops who's a legend in the kitchen. Having started my professional career as a concierge at the Ritz-Carlton, Mandarin Oriental and Baccarat Hotels I've eaten at the best restaurants and understand that the experience is *almost* as important as what you're eating. Hanging out with top James Beard winning chefs, talking food and technique is my bread and butter. I've taken the skills I've learned as a wee lad, cooking with my pops and spending time in the kitchen with the best chefs in the world to creating amazing food for my family and my guests. Things don't need to be over complicated, they just need to be DELICIOUS!

Our home is always stocked with killer proteins, small batch spirits and hyper-local craft beers. Tons of veggies from Union Square Farmer's Market on hand for my vegetarian wife :-)
What to expect at Evan's place
Our meal at Evan's was incredible. The Hamachi - with Meyer lemon, smoked paprika, chives, and Murray River salt - was a great starter. The pea shoot salad was delicious. The NY strip with parmesan polenta, caramelized shallots, and oyster mushrooms was wonderful. And the molten chocolate cakes with the bourbon caramel sauce was the perfect ending. It was a great meal. Evan is an extraordinary talent. On top of that, he and his wife Joanna were the perfect hosts. Their apartment is beautiful - with a spacious outdoor patio, tastefully decorated by Joanna, who is an interior designer. And they are great people (not to mention generous with the booze. :) It was a wonderful evening!
