New Yorker born in Venezuela willing to bring you the best of his upbringing cuisine. A touch of the latin flavors brought to a table at an utterly and radically New York apartment (an eclectic mix of flea market vintage and modern furniture) at the East Village. This casual experience won't let you indifferent for it brings the best of both marvelous worlds.

We had the pleasure to be hosted by Gustavo at his cozy apartment for an Eat-With for a delightful evening. Besides being charming and a very interesting person to talk to, Gustavo cooks wonderful - both tasty and beautiful looking courses. The evening was accompanied with a very nice cocktail and a very nice atmosphere. We strongly recommend enjoying an evening at Gustavo's.

We have a great night with Gustavo and friends. The food was delicious especially the welcoming passion fruit drink. He was a great host who made sure you felt welcomed and at home.

Gustavo was a gracious and friendly host. He welcomed us with a nice Venezuelan cocktail, which was unexpected. Dinner started with some delicate appetizers. Main course was great comfort foods. We all lingered on dessert and chatted over coffee and tea. Great experience overall. Gustavo's place was creatively well decorated and the ambiance was enjoyable.

Gustavo prepared delicious food that was presented well. He adhered to the published menu, offered second servings, and provided extra items (i.e., wine and coffee). His home was a nice setting for the meal, and he allowed us to linger afterwards.
