New York City-based Chef Diego, CEO of Diego A La Carta (@diegoalacarta), graduated from the highly accredited Gastronomic Institute D’Gallia in Lima, Peru. Chef Diego began his culinary experience in his home country of Peru, where he worked in various parts of the industry from opening a restaurant in Cusco, Peru to running a team of Event Catering Specialists in Lima. Since arriving in the United States, Chef Diego has worked in some of the most loved kitchens across New York City, including Michelin-starred Chef Jean-Georges’ ABC Cocina, Socarrat Paella Bar, and Raymi to name a few. His passion for learning in the kitchen led Chef Diego to dive deeper into expanding his skillset with a diverse list of international cuisine styles. Aside from his native Peruvian roots, Chef Diego specializes in a wide variety of cooking styles from Asian to Spanish, Italian to Mexican, and many others. With the same passion that led him to learning each of these unique cooking styles, Chef Diego offers his students a fun and easy way to learn and recreate all of these amazing techniques and recipes right from the comfort of home.

The event was excellent. Diego is a very talented chef. We have been cooking ceviche for some time, but his knowledge and tips really elevate the dish to another level. I highly recommend this class to anyone interested in excellent peruvian staple dishes.

Diego's ceviche cooking class was not only informative but the ceviche was honestly the best tasting ceviche I've ever had and everything was locally purchased. Diego is a world class host and knows so much information. 10 out of 10 and I would recommend this to anyone looking for something fun to do thats different!
