From the former Head Chef of Vanilla Black comes Eleven98: a Hackney-based social dining experience enjoyed at The Chef's Table and also as popups at some of the coolest spots across the London borough of Hackney. We always kick off proceedings with a quirky welcome cocktail and serve bespoke multi-course tasting menus. The truly unique concept of Eleven98 is that we source all of our produce from within the borough of Hackney! This means that all fruits, vegetables and herbs used across the menu will have been literally cultivated or foraged within a mile or two of where you'll be eating it! Lots of the produce is grown in Aidan's own veg garden, and his passion for sustainability and permaculture principles is visible throughout every aspect of the Eleven98 experience.

I attended Aidan's home just before lockdown and it was such a fantastic evening. Each course was so well-thought through with Aidan explaining all the local ingredients and history of the area. Both our table and the table next to us got chatting, by the end of the night the whole room + Aidan and his partner were all sharing memories and our favourite music. A really special night before lockdown and food to die for!

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Aidan. It was a very unusual menu but really enjoyable by all, with some of us eating things we didn’t think we would eat. Everything worked well and we would highly recommend the private dining event and will be returning again soon

I love the idea of a tasting menu and the concept of locally sourced food. That combined with the idea of being in the chef's home was a real drawcard. The experience was really wonderful. Great food a wonderful host and perfect company at the shared table. As the season changes I'm sure I will return for another visit. I would highly recommend you visit either as a party or as I did as one.

We thoroughly enjoyed the supper club. Each dish was so well thought out and carefully prepared and I loved that it was helping the local community. We enjoyed chatting about the food to new people on our table too. I will definately be telling friends and family about it and bringing them back to enjoy it too!
