A word about the experience
Konnichiwa! I’m Nariko and I offer hands-on Japanese cooking classes out of Nariko’s Kitchen. I was a child who always liked to help my mother in the kitchen. I gained more interest on cooking when I lived abroad and had a chance to do cooking sessions as part of my job. I’ve been teaching Japanese cooking in Malaysia as a cooking instructor and conducted classes for individuals and companies, and also gave cooking demonstration at cultural events. Come join me and try a hands-on cooking class offered in a Japanese home!
In this class, you will learn how to make Traditional Japanese sweets which is called "Nerikiri" .
Nerikiri This Japanese confection is served at a tea ceremony. It is made of white beans and shaped beautifully. You will make 3 designs (2 pieces each, you will make 6 pieces in total) of nerikiri learning how to shape it with nerikiri tools.
Note : The Nerikiri dough will be prepared by the instructor before the class but I will give you the recipe of the dough and explain in the class.
