Do you like gastronomy? Are you a refuted foodie? Or rather you are a Gourmet. Come to our Txoko. You can hold numerous types of events. We offer you a Cooking Workshop to learn how to cook authentic Spanish paellas and tapas.

In the heart of the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. We have a small place where we have our Txoko Gastronomic Association, with a full kitchen and a table for up to 20 people.

You can choose what kind of paella we are going to prepare. ¿, Valencian paella. ..., Seafood paella. ... Meat paella. ...Mixed paella. ... Black rice. ... Vegetarian paella, fideuá? Or perhaps a paella of duck breast with foie?
  And we are already moving forward! The secret of a good paella is in the broth and in the “sofrito”! You should also know that paella is the metal container, round, shallow and with two handles, which is used to cook paella.

We will cook "fresh food from the market", three or four tapas as a starter, paella of your choice and dessert.
MENU: Paella to choose; Patatas bravas, anchovies, cockles, mussels, garlic prawns, sausages, cheeses, padron peppers…..
We will accompany with local wines, mineral water, beer and coca-cola. Coffee or tea.

My name is Carlos, I am an Engineer and have a degree in Communication. I grow my own vegetables and am a licensed cook. Social entrepreneur, Our Start-Up Ecohortum is a specialist in products and content for urban agroecology and healthy eating.
I belong to a gastronomic association, where every week we cook all kinds of Spanish and Mediterranean dishes.
I love sharing our rich gastronomy with people from all over the world. Meat and fish, vegetables from our garden and dishes as Mediterranean as paellas

I speak Spanish, Catalan and English and together with my wife Susana Italian and French. We know the entire area very well, the mountain villages, the cultural and agricultural routes and we know how to cook all the typical food of the region: calçotades, paellas and all kinds of Mediterranean cuisine.
Through our Gastronomic and Cultural Association we offer you a meeting place, work and leisure, practicing the art of gastronomy, as well as business, cultural, social and corporate activities. Likewise, the activities related to innovation, ecology, food are the object of the Association. We have three spaces, two in Barcelona and one in Tarragona
We offer you gastronomic experiences of the land based on local producers, orchards and barbecue. The idea is to offer you a Mediterranean space and cook and learn the art of gastronomy together. From our garden we can consume some varieties of products according to availability and season.
We have availability every day of the week.
