Join Sohini in her Camberwell home to experience a cooking class including recipes from her childhood in Kolkata and her modern-take on these recipes inspired by her British Indian upbringing and travels. Learn the methodologies of traditional Bengali home cooking, as well as how to embrace your own cooking style and kitchen. Once you're done, you'll sit down to enjoy your creation! 

Expect to engage with multiple cooking methods and learn to tune into your senses. She will guide you on how to use the ingredients around you, prepare condiments and spices at home. Some of the dishes you can make feature in Sohini's popular supper club!

As this is a personalised cooking class, the dishes you will be cooking will be tailored to the vegetables you normally buy and your dietary choices. This is to make sure that you are more likely to actually use the recipes and techniques at home.

I was born and raised in Kolkata, India and moved to the UK with my parents just before my teenage years. My food is shaped by my family's immigration, my roots from East and West Bengal and all the techniques of my home cuisine. I am heavily inspired by the ingenious methods of my grandmothers and mother, by the street food culture in Kolkata and also everywhere I travel. When my guests eat my food I want to evoke their memories of home, wherever that may be and introduce them to lip smacking new flavours.
