An exquisite Victorian in the Mission was the setting for a memorable and delicious dinner featuring the pastas and sauces from the Barilla Co., enhanced and demonstrated by Chef James. Beginning with an amazing cheese and charcuterie appetizer, the marinara cream sauce and the chef’s meatballs were particularly outstanding.

James' Bi-Rite market tour and pasta making class was such a fun experience! As a first-timer with making fresh pasta, James was a great teacher. He made the process fun and enjoyable. Aside from the pasta, the dishes from the cheese plate to the peppers and main pasta course were delicious! I left so full - in a good way! James' home is also beautiful and it was great to hear about his story! I highly recommend!
